Appeal after body of a woman found in Camborne

We are releasing images of a piece of jewellery as part of efforts to identify a woman found deceased in woods in Camborne.

At 7.45am on Sunday 3 May police received reports that a body had been found in woodland in the Killivose area.

Since the discovery, detectives have been working to try and establish the woman’s identity and also the exact circumstances surrounding her death.

As part of the investigation, we are releasing the attached images of the front and back of a necklace found on the woman in the hope that somebody may be able to recognise it and assist with the identification process.

The death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious at this time.
